Cultivating Education through School Spirit

Education is so important but unfortunately it is really only once we have left school that we appreciate the value of a good education and a good school. This is why we try to send our children to the best schools we can. Many children find the school environment very difficult, socially and academically.

This has a lot to do with the politics that seem to consumer the social spheres of school life, but the discipline of the classroom also finds resistance. Amid these two forces it is understandable that many children struggle at school.

But a lot of this is also about morale and the environment that the school and therefore the children are willing to create. If a school were to decide to cultivate school spirit in some way, perhaps with school personalized Christmas ornaments some of these problems might be lessened.

School spirit is about having pride and feeling that you have an investment in the place where you go to school. If you have this spirit then you want to help.

You want to help not only yourself or the school, but also other students who might be struggling. If you feel like you are valued at a school and that you have something to offer you are much more likely to invest yourself in the school and your education.
